ECS Customer Service

Electronic Customer Service (ECS) is a white-label credit card payment and credit management system. The original ECS was created in 1996 and had outdated navigation, user flow, and virtually no branding.

 

The assignment was a full redesign with a focus on branding and additional functionality. We started by talking to a sample of existing users and customers about their experiences with the old site. Then we conducted a benchmark study of our competitor.

 

We developed a strategy to create a clean, simple, branded application comparable with other modern fintech apps like Mint and Nerdwallet. I tested several versions with existing users to arrive at the final iteration that you see here. The new solution contains several new features including payment plans and split payments.
