A mobile experience to rival desktop
AC-Mobile-hero.png

Created in 2018, the current AdvisorClient app consists of mainly watch lists and third-party research content. It does not align with the functionality of the desktop counterpart.
The new AC Mobile app closely aligns with the desktop version and includes some notable additions as well.

DURATION

February to October, 2020

PROBLEM

The existing app includes only a few features, the focus of the project is to add all of the functionality in the desktop application to the new mobile app. The problem is the desktop app contains some very large and complicated data tables and an IA that is not conducive to a mobile experience.

SOLUTION

Working closely with the engineering team, I found ways to break up the large data tables and redesign them to be mobile-friendly. I was able to add some useful additions like check deposits, and data streaming functionality into the final product and I redesigned the IA to work with a mobile application as well.
Initial user tests indicate that The app will be available in both the IOS and Android app stores soon.
